Research Analyst Position In Early Mathematics Development, Vanderbilt University


Research Analyst position in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University working in the research group led by Dr. Bethany Rittle-Johnson.


Full-time, one-year position, starting July 2016.  


Job Summary: 

Oversee and help conduct research project on math and spatial skills in preschool funded by the Institute of Education Sciences.  Primary responsibilities will be data collection in local preschools, data management and coding, preparation of data collection materials and of materials for publications, and general lab management, including supervision of undergraduate students.


This position requires a bachelors degree in Psychology or Education or a related field, previous experience working with young children, experience conducting psychological research, and excellent organizational, interpersonal and computer skills.  Previous research experience in tasks such as literature reviews and data coding, and experience teaching or tutoring in school settings is highly desirable.
