Lab Manager Position available at the Morality Lab at Boston College 


The Morality Lab at Boston College ( is looking for a full-time lab manager to begin work Spring/Summer 2015. We are looking for applicants who have prior experience with computer programming (e.g., MATLAB, Psychtoolbox, python, java) or are confident that they can learn on their own. We are also looking for applicants who are independent, passionate about science, and enjoy working with others. Prior research experience, including familiarity with experimental design and statistics, particularly in neuroscience, is a major plus. Current approaches in our lab include fMRI, TMS, eye-tracking, studying patient populations, and behavioral testing in children and adults. Some examples of current research topics include social cognition for competition versus cooperation, the distinct functions of moral norms, the representation of moral beliefs versus factual beliefs and opinions, and the role of episodic simulation and memory in prosocial behavior.
