The Developmental Research Laboratory in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews is seeking a full-time lab coordinator.  

The lab coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with behavioural and neuroimaging studies with infants and young children.  Research projects will span the development of causal learning, prosocial behaviour, intentional communication, and social cognition more broadly.  Primary responsibilities include recruiting and scheduling study participants and maintaining participant records, assisting PIs in training and managing undergraduate research assistants, testing children, and initiating and maintaining relationships with nurseries, museums and other recruitment sites.  Other activities include data entry, coding, purchasing and maintenance of equipment, and generally facilitating research in the lab.  The appointee will be managing the Developmental Research Laboratory, used by Professor Malinda Carpenter, Dr Amanda Seed, Dr Sarah Gerson, Dr Juan-Carlos Gomez and other developmental staff and students.
