Research Assistant Position

Department of Psychology, Tufts University

Memory Disorders Research Center, VA Boston Healthcare System

We are seeking a full-time research assistant to assist with all aspects of our cognitive neuroscience research.  Our lab uses a combination of behavioral and neuroimaging methodologies (including fMRI and EEG) to study brain-behavior relationships in both healthy individuals and patient populations (including patients with amnesia and patients with frontal-lobe lesions).  Of particular interest are the cognitive and neural mechanisms supporting human memory, prospection, language, and cognitive control. The lab has sites at both Tufts University and the VA Boston Healthcare System.

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain experience with both neuroimaging and patient-based research, and is ideal for those interested in pursuing graduate studies in clinical/cognitive psychology, neuroscience, or medicine.  Interested candidates should email a cover letter describing relevant experiences and interests, a CV/resume, an unofficial transcript, and three letters of reference to Dr. Elizabeth Race (race@bu.edu).
