Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinic Director
The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University has an opening for a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Baylor Psychology Clinic, beginning as early as January, 2017. The Baylor Psychology Clinic is the training clinic for the Department’s APA-accredited Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.  The anticipated position is full time, 12- month, renewable non-tenure track, at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor,  with a potential promotion via the University’sClinical Professor Track
 Responsibilities include administrative oversight of the Baylor Psychology Clinic facility, developing and maintaining clinic policies and procedures, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal procedures, supervising clinical practica, initiating and maintaining contact with local referral sources and practicum sites, participating in graduate teaching, and assisting the Director of the Clinical Psychology program in various capacities.  Opportunities exist for clinical research as well.  The ideal candidate will have a history of successful supervision of clinical work, including psychological assessment and evidence-based psychotherapy, demonstrable ability to integrate research into practice, outstanding administrative skills, and an ability to contribute to our top-ranked doctoral program.  Candidates for this position should be licensed or license eligible in Texas, possess an APA-accredited degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a closely related area of professional psychology, and have experience in the relevant areas.  Baylor University is a moderate size (14,000 students) university and Waco is a temperate, low-cost metropolitan area of 250,000+ people with a large VA medical center.
