The Department of Psychology is seeking a tenure-line assistant professor with expertise in sociocultural factors, diverse populations/groups, and/or social identity to teach undergraduate Introductory Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, an introductory course in one’s general subarea of Psychology, and Psychology elective courses in one or more of the following areas: psychopharmacology; cultural/cross-cultural psychology; gender; equity / social justice issues as they pertain to gender, culture, race, age, or other individual differences; drugs and addiction; decision and risk; or interpersonal violence. Teaching responsibilities also include one or two courses per year related to the faculty member’s expertise as part of the university’s Knowledge, Identity, and Power (KNOW) or Connections general education requirement.
