Rowan University is a public comprehensive state-designated research institution with approximately 16,000 students. The Psychology Department at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2017. Candidates will be expected to maintain an active program of research that is competitive for external funding as well as teach graduate and undergraduate courses. Research area is open; preference will be given to candidates with experience working with industry partners. The minimum qualification for the position is a doctoral degree (ABD at time of application will be considered). The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in experimental design and quantitative analysis; have strong writing and communication skills; and have proficiency in protoyping tools (e.g., Axure, Fireworks). In addition to our new Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology with training in Health and Integrated Primary Care, the Department of Psychology offers Masters’ degrees and advanced graduate certificate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and School Psychology.
