Two positions at NIJ

Dear Consortium Colleagues, Please see below for several new job opportunities. Best, Patricia Barton, Consortium Coordinator

The National Institute of Justice has two opportunities through the Intergovernmental Personnel Act.  Positions are for a 2-year detail to NIJ with a possibility of a 1-year extension.

Social Science Researcher focused on Intimate Partner Violence Offending and Battering

This person will work with NIJs Violence Against Women (VAW) team and across other offices to develop a research agenda on intimate partner violence perpetration that goes beyond critiquing batterer intervention programs and integrates broader research on offending into NIJs VAW program of research.

Social Science Researcher focused on Sexual Assault and Forensics Research

This person will work broadly across NIJs Office of Research and Evaluation and Office of Investigative and Forensic Sciences to coordinate and oversee several intramural and extramural research projects on sexual assault forensics.

Both positions will be working with other Federal agencies as well to ensure collaboration and non-duplication of efforts. Please see the attached position descriptions for more information.

Application deadline: July 28, 2016.
