The Department of Psychology, University of Washington, expects to fill a non-tenure track, Lecturer Full-time position. Appointment expected to begin in September 2016.
We seek a faculty member who is strongly committed to teaching large undergraduate courses in psychology such as Introductory Psychology. We are especially interested in applicants with a focus in Developmental, Social or Clinical Psychology, and/or Quantitative Methods. Additional courses could include Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methods, or Statistics, along with upper-division courses in the applicants’ field of specialization. Responsibilities will include teaching up to two undergraduate psychology courses per quarter (autumn, winter, or spring). Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, is required by date of appointment. The University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
