The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in clinical psychology specializing in pediatric or geriatric neuropsychology, although all candidates with strong clinical neuropsychology backgrounds will be considered. The person filling this position is expected to (1) maintain a high-quality, fundable research program, (2) teach graduate courses in assessment or intervention, (3) supervise practicum students in assessment through our on-campus training clinic, (4) mentor undergraduate and graduate students, (5) provide excellent instruction and research supervision, and (6) participate in curricular decisions and faculty governance. The clinical psychology doctoral program at UNLV is APA-accredited and based on a scientist-practitioner model. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA-accredited clinical program, an accredited clinical internship, and be licensed or license-eligible. The Department has 27 full time faculty members and an experimental Ph.D. program with cognitive, developmental, neuroscience, and quantitative/experimental areas of study.  

Salary is competitive, and the position is contingent upon funding.
