Research Associate, Institute for Children, Youth and Family Policy, Brandeis University

The Research Associate will be responsible for quantitative data analysis and management, policy analysis, research and policy evidence reviews and analytic writing for the diversitydatakids.org project. diversitydatakids.org is a comprehensive information system and research project to monitor the state of wellbeing, diversity, opportunity and equity for U.S. children. The goals of diversitydatakids.org include developing sound policy-relevant indicators of access to developmentally appropriate opportunities across childhood contexts for children of all racial/ethnic groups; conducting policy and data analysis identifying progress and inequities in access to these opportunities; and rigorously analyzing and disseminating federal, state and local evidence-based policies that address unequal access. Identified priority policy areas for analysis include early childhood education, work/family, housing and health policies.

The Research Associate will conduct work in three main areas:  policy indicator development, and applied policy research and research dissemination.
