Program Director (Other) Science of Learning Activities National Science Foundation

Program Director (Other)
Science of Learning Activities
National Science Foundation

The Science of Learning Program, within the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences Directorate at NSF is hiring a rotating program director, start date to be negotiated.  Rotators take a leave from their institutions to serve a one- to three-year stint overseeing proposal submission and review and rendering recommendations for funding decisions.  Importantly, the Foundation seeks active researchers to serve in these positions and does not expect rotators to place their research on hold.  Up to 20% of their effort can be dedicated to their own research.

Effective program directors are those with intellectual curiosity and broad interest who are eager to help shape the direction of their science.

NSF is a thriving intellectual environment with speaker series, workshops, and ample opportunity for interdisciplinary connections.
