Postdoctoral Position in Autism Research – Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Lab at Northwestern University: Evanston, IL
The Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Laboratory at Northwestern University (http://ndl.northwestern.edu) is searching for a post-doctoral fellow to work on ongoing NIH-funded research on autism and other communication disorders. This position is for two years, with the possibility of an extension, depending on funding.
This position offers opportunities to work on projects investigating the neurocognitive and genetic basis of autism, as well as studies of etiology and treatment across a variety of communication disorders. The position involves engagement at all levels, from recruitment and testing children and families to dissemination of findings. The successful applicant will play a leadership role in coordinating research activities and supervising project staff.
Position qualifications include a PhD in psychology, communication sciences, neuroscience, linguistics, or a related field; experience with autism; strong experimental and statistical skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment on multiple tasks and projects, and to share one’s expertise with and train others.
