The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £33,353 - £40,313 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Applications are invited for the position of post-doctoral research associate to conduct studies of human social interaction using virtual reality and fMRI. The post holder will be responsible for the design, implementation, analysis and write-up of studies of how and why people imitate each other. The post-holder will be based at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and will be working with Dr Antonia Hamilton and her team. The post is funded by an ERC grant and is available for 2 years in the first instance.

The successful applicant must have submitted a PhD in psychology or cognitive neuroscience by the agreed start date. Knowledge of relevant research methods and familiarity with computer programming (Matlab or Python) is essential.
