Postdoctoral Position in Cognitive Psychology
A two-year postdoctoral research and teaching fellowship is available in the Psychology Department at Wesleyan University. The postdoctoral fellow will work with Dr. Hilary Barth and Dr. Andrea Patalano on behavioral studies related to perceiving and understanding time, space, number, and probability. We seek an outstanding scientist with a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or related area. Both computational modeling strength and interest in mentoring undergraduates in computational methods are requirements for this position. The fellow will teach two courses per year: one small undergraduate course in computational methods for understanding mind/brain, and a second course (which could consist of a workshop series to support faculty skill development or training of exceptional undergraduates involved in research).
