Post-doc at the Communication Development Laboratory, Northeastern University

The Communication Development Laboratory, in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, Boston, MA (, under the direction of Dr. David J. Lewkowicz, invites applications for a one-year NIH funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position in infant perceptual and cognitive development to start in May, 2015 with the likely possibility of re-appointment for a second year. The salary is based on NIH standards. The position involves research on the development of infant attention, perception, and cognition with an emphasis on the development of multisensory processes. Background in infant/child behavioral work is highly desirable, though not essential. In addition, some experience with cognitive neuroscience methods would be a definite plus as would a background in programming (e.g., Matlab; Psych Toolbox), eye tracking, and appropriate statistical methodology. Writing experience and a publication record is required.
